A little More About Myself

I am originally from the Salinas Valley, “The Salad Bowl of the World.” The area has taken on this name due to the fact it is the largest producer of produce (veggies) in the world. More specifically, I am was born in Salinas, CA (20 minutes outside of Monterey, CA).

Luckily, I have had extremely hard working parents, Robert and Sharon Baca, who have made growing up a lot easier. Not to be biased, but I have never met a couple more in love than those two. They are always in accord with each other and I couldn’t be any more proud of what those two have accomplished.

Because my parents are hard workers I have had the opportunity to be active my entire life. Such activities include snow skiing, wakeboarding, water skiing, BMX, soccer, football, baseball, and golf. Additionally, I have never really had to maintain a job until after my senior of high school. But don’t worry this has not blinded me of the value of the dollar.

I went to Palma High School an all boys, private, Catholic school in Salinas, CA. I achieved a cumulative gpa of 4.0 while being a 3 sport athlete in football, baseball, and golf.

As I mentioned before, I had taken on a job after my senior year. I decided to work for family friends who owned a gas station down the road. During that summer I worked there while simultaneously running my own business collecting and selling school books from fellow classmates. This was the specific time where I found my new passion of being an “Entrepreneur”. Even though I loved the people I worked with at the gas station, I hated my 40 hour work week doing the same thing over and over… But, at the same time I was enjoying every bit of learning how to run a business. Granted it was a very small scale business I had a great learning experience.

I now attend San Diego State University and finally settled with a major in Economics after bouncing around majors/minors like a pinball. While at the school I have gained a solid group of friends, met a lot of great people, and have learned more about business than I have ever thought I would.

From Fall 08′ to Spring 10′ I had been a part of Entrepreneur Society. I appreciated working with everyone involved in the organization and take great value in the connections I have made. We brought in great keynote speakers from a variety of industries, created and promoted our own school wide business competition, and have gained a lot more traction on the SDSU campus. I was amazed by the kind of people I worked with on a day to day basis.

Well for now I am working hard to get through school and have become a partner of AtomicPages LLC a web hosting, design, and development company based out of San Diego, CA. Loving what I do and the guys I work with is key to my success so far and hope to keep it that way.

If you have read this bio about me, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to find out more about me. Also, feel free to contact me. I am more than willing to talk to anyone about virtually anything you feel like discussing. Have a great day and I wish you the best.
